Frosty and so delicious everyone loves this Frozen Mango Daiquiri. Bursting with fresh mango and pineapple and zingy burst of lime, this is the best frozen daiquiri!
Mango Daiquiri
I told you I would be back with more Tiki cocktails, after sharing how to Make Homemade Orgeat Syrup and then giving you a delicious Mai Tai Cocktail to use that syrup!
Well, I'm back this week with a mango daiquiri, but not just any mango daiquiri, a delicious frozen mango daiquiri. Just look at that gorgeous color!
One sip of this rum cocktail and you'll feel like you're on a tropical beach, you can almost feel that warm breeze, can't you?!
Ingredients to Make Frozen Mango Daiquiri
Let's talk about the ingredients you need to make this easy frozen daiquiri recipe!
Rum - duh! You want a light rum for this, both for color and the lighter flavor.
Lime - peeled (save that zest in a small jar in the freezer for whenever you need lime zest) and halved.
Frozen Mango Chunks - easily found in most grocery store freezer sections
Frozen Pineapple Chunks - I make my own whenever pineapples are on sale. I just cut them up and store them in a bag in the freezer, because I also use them a lot for smoothies.
Ice - not pictured because I think we all know what ice looks like!
How to Make a Mango Daiquiri
This recipe is so easy, you simply put all the ingredients in the blender and process until smooth, which with my Vitamix is about 1 to 1 ½ minutes on high.
When filling your blender, there is a certain order that is best. Start with your liquid, in this case rum. Then add any non frozen ingredients, like the lime. Then add the frozen ingredients - the pineapple and the mango chunks. Top with ice.
Tip - if you have a recipe that uses frozen fruit, it is a good idea to let the fruit sit out for about 10 minutes. I usually get it out first and let it sit there while I gather my other ingredients.
The Best Frozen Daiquiri!
I know, I probably always say something is the best. Truthfully the best cocktail is the one in my hand at any given moment! But this frozen mango daiquiri is crazy good!
It is filled with loads of fruity flavor from the mango and the pineapple. What sets it over the top is the lime. Using a whole (peeled) lime really gives you so much lime flavor, it just bursts forward and really keeps the cocktail from being too sweet.
More Frozen Cocktails:
Classic Frozen Daiquiri - it's it's simplest form, still an amazing cocktail.
Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri - one of the most popular cocktails on my blog, popular year round!
Frozen Negroni - I typically think of a negroni as a winter drink, this changes all that!
Strawberry Frosé - everyone is making these for a reason! So good!
Frozen Boozy Popsicles:
Boozy Bourbon Cocoa Pops - because bourbon and chocolate need to be frozen on a stick.
Piña Colada Popsicles - your favorite cocktail in a fun easy to eat treat!
15 Boozy Popsicles to Make Right Now - really. Make them right now.
