A few photos of our calico kitten, Luxie.
When the last of our girls moved out, I turned their bedroom into a sewing room. I left the bed and a chest of drawers, but managed to squeeze most of sewing stuff into the room. During the summer, I searched through my house looking for a place to set up some lights to do food photography in the winter. It get's dark way before dinner, and I needed a set up where I could just run in, plop the plate down, turn on some lights, take the photos, and then straight to the dining room. Again, this sewing/bedroom was the only place with a little open space.
And by space, I mean that it had the top of a cedar chest that didn't have anything on it. Trying to find a space in our house that is not already filled, is not an easy task. You can probably notice that by looking at the backgrounds of these photos. I am definitely a more is more kind of woman. You won't see a picture or two hanging on my wall, you see groups of ten to twelve!
Since I am in here a lot, Luxie has turned it into her room. During the day, I will frequently come up to find her sleeping on the bed. She especially loves the vintage quilts in the quilt rack in front of the bed.
Happy Caturday everyone!
