Strawberry Chia Jam

Easy 30 Minute Strawberry Chia Jam

This strawberry jam comes together in about 30 minutes!  It's so easy and delicious and good for you!

  • 2 cups diced strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener of your choice - I used agave nectar


  • Cook the strawberries in a medium saucepan over medium heat, until they start to break down and get syrupy. Use a potato masher or the back of your spoon if you want them more mashed.
  • Take the pan off the heat and stir in the lemon juice and the sweetener.
  • Stir in the chia seeds and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  • Cool to room temperature and then spoon into a jar and refrigerate. It will thicken even more in the refrigerator. 


Note - you can substitute other fruit - I think blackberries, blueberries, or raspberries would be great. 
This will keep in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks.
