Raspberry Chocolate Chip Frozen Yogurt

This raspberry chocolate chip frozen yogurt is bursting with raspberries and little bits of chocolate.  Gorgeous color and good for you too!

  • 3 cups raspberries fresh or frozen
  • 2 cups low-fat plain yogurt
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips preferably mini
  • 2 Tablespoons vanilla vodka my addition


  • Place raspberries, yogurt, sugar, vodka and vanilla in a food processor and process until smooth.
  • Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker . Freeze according to manufacturer’s directions, or until desired consistency. Add chocolate chips during the last 5 minutes of freezing. 
  • Transfer to an airtight container and freeze until ready to serve.


Can use fresh or frozen raspberries. 
With less sugar, this frozen yogurt freezes a little more firmly than some.  You might want to remove it from the freezer about 5-10 minutes before you are ready to serve it.
