Instant Pot Pumpkin Pie Steel Cut Oats

Warm and creamy steel cut oats with fall flavors of pumpkin and maple syrup.

  • Add the water, oats, pumpkin, brown sugar, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice and salt to the pressure cooker pot.  Stir. 
  • Lock on the lid and make sure the vent is set to sealing.  
  • Set on the porridge setting and cook on high pressure for 12 minutes. 
  • Allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then turn the vent to venting and release the rest of the pressure.   Remove the lid.
  • Stir, add the milk and stir again. 
  • Serve topped with the nuts. 


The nuts are optional, but they add a nice crunch.  Can use almonds too.
