White Lady Cocktail
This classic gin cocktail has only 3 ingredients and is so refreshing to sip!!
- 1 1/2 ounces gin
- 1 ounce Cointreau
- 1 ounce lemon juice fresh squeezed
- 3/4 ounce egg white optional
- lemon peel for garnish
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and fill about 1/2 full of ice.
Shake for 10-15 seconds.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
If using the optional egg white, add all the ingredients to the cocktail shaker, with no ice and shake for about 10 seconds. Then add the ice and shake again for about 10 seconds.
If using the optional egg white - notice that you first "dry shake" the cocktail. This means putting all the ingredients, including the egg white in the cocktail shaker and shaking it to emulsify the ingredients. Then you add the ice and shake again.
