This Asian Slaw is light and flavorful with ginger and cilantro. The perfect accompaniment to hot and spicy Asian food!
- 4 cups cabbage shredded
- 2 green onions thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup cilantro chopped
- 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 tbsp ginger finely grated
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- salt and pepper
Add the cabbage, cilantro, and onions to a bowl.
Whisk together the vinegar, sugar, ginger and red pepper flakes, until the sugar dissolves.
Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine.
Taste and add salt and pepper if desired.
Omit the red pepper flakes if you don't want any heat.
Store the ginger in the freezer and grate with a microplane - so easy!
