Hibiscus Simple Syrup

This easy to make Hibiscus Simple Syrup makes the prettiest cocktails and gives them a lemony floral note!  Perfect for Mother's Day or any day you want a pretty cocktail!

Ingredients

  • 4 hibiscus tea bags
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  • Heat one cup of water until it just comes to a boil.  Remove from the heat and add the tea bags.  Let them steep for 20 minutes. 
  • Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar. 
  • Let cool and pour into a glass jar or bottle with a lid.  
  • Store in the refrigerator for about a month.

Notes

Use organic tea when possible. 
Can use honey instead of the sugar.
