Remove the flower petals from the flowers and place in a jar big enough to hold the flowers plus 2 cups of liquid.
Add the vodka.
Muddle gently by pressing on the petals about 5 or 6 times.
Cover and let sit on the counter.
Begin checking the flavor at 6 hours. Mine was a desired strength at 8 hours.
Strain to remove the flower petals and store in a lidded bottle.

Notes
The color of the petals will determine the color of your vodka. I used all red and pink petals because I wanted a soft pink vodka. Try yellow and orange for a more orange colored vodka. This will keep almost indefinitely, but the color and flavor will fade. I try to use all my infusions within a year.
