Combine the ingredients for the berry mixture in a medium bowl. Stir to coat the berries.
Spoon berries into casserole dish or pie plate.
Combine the topping ingredients in a bowl. Using your fingers, work the butter into the dry ingredients, until it forms a coarse crumb.
Spread topping on berries.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.

Use whatever berries you have - you just want a total of about 5 cups.Can use whole wheat flour in the topping if you'd like for a little bit of a nuttier flavor.Can substitute cinnamon for the cardamom.
