Tart Cherry Negroni

This Tart Cherry Negroni is the most delicious Negroni variation! A little sweet, but with that classic Negroni bitterness.

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce gin
  • 1 ounce Campari
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • 1 ounce tart cherry juice
  • orange slices for garnish
  • cherries for garnish

Instructions

  • Place ice in a mixing glass.
  • Add gin, Campari, sweet vermouth and tart cherry juice to mixing glass.
  • Stir vigorously for 25-30 seconds.
  • Add ice to a cocktail glass (or not if you want it without ice.) Pour cocktail into glass.
  • Twist an orange wedge above the glass and drop the wedge into the Negroni.

Notes

You can serve a Negroni on ice or straight up. 
If you want a little less cherry flavor, use ½ ounce of tart cherry juice. 
I like my Negroni with an orange slice, some people prefer just a twist of orange peel.
