Ingredients
2ouncesvodka
1ounceCassis
5blackberriesplus more for garnish
1ouncelime juicefresh squeezed
Instructions
Put ice in martini glass to chill.
Add 2 ounces of vodka to cocktail shaker.
Add 5 blackberries to cocktail shaker. Muddle until the berries are crushed.
Add 1 ounce of Cassis to cocktail shaker.
Add 1 ounce of lime juice to cocktail shaker.
Add ice to cocktail shaker, put lid on it and shake for 15 to 20 seconds.
Dump ice from cocktail glass. Strain martini using a fine mesh strainer into glass. Garnish with extra blueberries.
Notes
Cassis - is a dark colored currant liqueur. It tastes like a cross between blackberries and pomegranates. If you can't find it, you can substitute raspberry liqueur.
