These sauteed apples are so easy and so delicious! They make a great side dish or dessert.

Ingredients

apples
peeled, cored and sliced

butter

cup
brown sugar
½
teaspoon
cinnamon
Instructions
In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the apples and stir so that they are coated with the butter. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring a couple of times.
Uncover and stir in the cinnamon and brown sugar. Raise the heat to medium high and continue to cook for 10 more minutes, stirring occasionally.

Apples - granny smith apples cook up nicely and balance the sweetness of the sugar, but you can use whatever apples you'd like!
