In keeping with my new vow to provide current photos of my garden (go outside and take 5 photos every week), here are a few snippets from my January Garden. First up is the Lenten Rose. I don’t know if this is particularly early for this or if it keeps it’s buds for awhile, but it’s definitely getting ready!

Tennessee winters don’t do anything to my rosemary except possibly slow it’s growth a bit! It’s definitely an herb I should be using all year long!

Ferns are still looking good.

This is how winter has looked here for the past two weeks…rainy and gloomy. I say if it’s going to look this gloomy, it should at least snow. I’m sure Mr. Red-Bellied Woodpecker agrees!
How about you, what does your January garden look like?
Please join me for Garden Tuesday.

My garden is covered with snow!!
what you do have in your garden looks good.
I'd be out there checking that rose everyday. I sure miss my garden.
We're in Palm Springs right now, and although it's sunny everyday, it's cold! Well, cold for me, in the 50's.
One of these days I'll get my act together and make potted rosemary Christmas trees and wreaths for gifts. Still hot and humid here and waiting for rain - decent soaking rain.
We've looked like that a lot, too, and have had some snow, which is now all gone. Sorry I can't send any your way, but we don't have it!
How can your garden be so beautiful in the winter?
Maybe you will get the snow that is heading our way today. Stay warm, I hope we get a good snow too, as I am sick of the rain.
