Rose of Sharon and Purple Hyssop | Garden Tuesday

    Purple Hyssop | Sidewalk Shoes

Purple hyssop was a new addition to our garden last year.  I like that it blooms sort of late in the season.  Some of my early bloomers are fading out and these are coming on strong.

The Rose of Sharon's are also late bloomers (relatively speaking).  We have these lining both sides of our backyard as a sort of hedgerow.

Sedum Autumn Joy | Sidewalk Shoes

Sedum Autumn Joy, one of my favorites is getting ready for it's time to shine!  You can see the fading daylilies next to it.

I'm afraid I'm only going to show you flowers in isolation, because the weeds have totally had their way with my flower beds.  If I showed you my whole beds, you would scream in horror!

Kristy - you should plant them! They made it through our rough winter and the butterflies love them!
