Sigh. I miss summer. This has been such a boring winter - I know I shouldn't say that, I'm probably jinxing us! But we've had no snow really, just about an hour of flurries that melted as soon as they landed. That's it. Not only have we not had any snow, but we've hardly had any sun. Most days are just a boring, cold, gray. So I'll continue to work my way through my archive of garden photos.
Oh, all the promise in that tiny yellow flower! It's amazing isn't it? These were volunteer plants that came up because I am a bad produce drawer keeper and had to toss a bunch of rotten tomatoes into the compost bin. Then Mr. Sidewalk Shoes spread that compost over my herb bed and up popped a flurry of tomato plants.

We've had lots of snow here in Vermont and it looks like we'll be waiting for spring for a while!

I'm afraid that it's drought, drought, and more drought here still. GREG

Nothing growing here...but thankfully not much snow either and currently none on the ground, which I am considering a huge plus for this time of year. Nice to see greenery...any kind of greenery, and yes, I miss summer!!

I feel the same way! This winter has reminded me of an Oregon winter. No snow, just drizzle and LOTS of endless gray skies. I hate it, I came out here to get away from that weather! 🙂 You pictures make me miss summer too!
