    Solomon's Seal

LAST UPDATED: January 31, 2019 PUBLISHED: May 16, 2016 By Pam Greer 20 Comments As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

    Solomon's Seal

Anyone else grow Solomon's Seal?  We love it.  I don't even remember how we got started growing it.  We might have purchased a plant or two during one of our local native plant sales.  Whatever it was, we now have it all over our back yard.  It forms dense clumps and grows from these huge underground tubers.  When the clump gets too dense or it's reaching into parts of the bed that we don't want it in, we just dig it up, divide it and more the smaller clumps to other areas of the garden.  It's kind of like daylilies or iris in that manner.   I love it's graceful arches with dainty dangling white flowers.

These are so unique, they look like little bells 🙂
      Do they turn into fruits?

Of course! - That's what it is. I found a clump and had no idea. Very graceful, isn't it?
It grows under an ailing bamboo, with not much else around. Maybe they can cheer each other up 🙂

My garden is down for the winter but there are lots of Solomon's Seals around my area. They are such a unique flower but I never think to look for them in the shops.
