Chattanooga Snow Finally! | Garden Tuesday

    Tree covered in snow

Well, we finally got our snow!  8 inches of a very pretty, very wet snow.  Perfect for snowmen and snowball fights, neither of which I did.  What I did do is run outside, even before my coffee, and snap some photos.  It was supposed to warm up into the 40's that day, an I wanted to make sure that I got it before it melted.  So these are very early morning!  I took enough photos for two posts, so you'll see part two of my snow next week.  I know all of you who have been walloped with snow are probably rolling your eyes, but this is our first real snow of the winter!

The snow is beautiful but we have seen enough to be ready for spring and warm weather now - it seems so far away.

We finally had another snow storm last weekend, but it's gone now. Beautiful pictures as always, Pam ๐Ÿ™‚

That's quite a bit of snow for you guys! Did you have any damage to trees? With that much wet snow, we tend to have a lot of limbs down due to the weight on the branches.

Heading into the 60s this weekend for a full week of springtime temps! I couldn't be happier. ๐Ÿ™‚

Ahhh... what beautiful photos. Takes me back to our home on 5 acres in the Cascade foothills. We could be snowed in for weeks. No snow in Portland this year though, plus early balmy spring weather. Camellias, daffodils, early rhododendrons, and some cherry trees are already in bloom across town. We were on Cannon Beach a couple of weekends ago and it was so warm that our favorite-4-year-old stripped down to underwear to play in the shallow tide pools. Amazing!

Even with all the snow we've been getting this Winter, I still get excited about its beauty Pam. You have taken some really gorgeous shots to share with us. I can feel your excitement in each and every one.

Thank you so much for sharing, Pam...

Gorgeous snow pics! I did a post yesterday on the snow Around Our House. I didn't realize you had a Facebook page, so I have liked it now. Hoping to get your posts on my feed.
