    Yellow Daylilies | Sidewalk Shoes

I'm showing you a few photos of my yellow daylilies today.  My bright and colorful ones haven't opened up yet.  These yellow ones are in the front bed and get more sun, so maybe that's why they are first.  They are such large showy flowers, I love them!

You know what garden peeps?  I'm going to keep on with my Garden Tuesday link up here (nice and easy, no obligations), but I'm also going to link up to some other garden linky parties!  How about you do the same, that way we'll all be one big happy garden family.

I know this is a garden post, But did you know daylilies were edible? I just had them as part of a tasting menu on Lummi Island in the Puget Sound. We were served several edible flowers in a nasturtium sauce. One of the tastiest was daylily! GREG

          Hi Pam!

Oh my goodness, I'm so happy I popped by for Garden Tuesday on Thursday, lol...Your Daylillies are lovely. I'm patiently waiting for my tree lilillies to bloom. It was touch and go there for a while with the cold evenings but, I think they made it through.

Yours look so bright and sturdy:) Thank you so much for sharing, Pam. Great idea to link up. I'll be back to Garden Tuesday next week! Have a safe and FUN 4th, Pam...And once again, thank you so much for "playing" the Picnic Game:)

The thing I love about lillies is that they are forgiving... I can go to Italy for 2 months and come home to flowers!
Here in Alabama our yellows are gone, and moving into the dark purples.
      Lovely~

My day lilies have never looked better!! We've had so much rain and sunshine and they keep on blooming. I need to plant more in the backyard (most of mine greet me as I pull in the driveway) to add a splash of color to an otherwise green palette.
