I didn’t even see the ant on this peony until I was uploading the photos from my camera. I didn’t realize they start on the peonies before they even open!
Candytuft is filled loads of sweet white flowers!
This pholox is planted around my mailbox. It’s gorgeous, but quite an aggressive spreader. If it could, it would take over the whole bed!
Sedum autumn joy has such lovely, fleshy bright green growth. It shows why it is a year-round favorite in my garden!
Please join me for Garden Tuesday.

Hi Pam,
Got your link from Louise! And great to see your garden link-up! Nice to garden with you on Tuesdays and our weekly cooking with IHCC! 🙂
You have such gorgeous blooms in your garden. The flowers are just so pretty!
My garden is in pots, and though I do not post as often, will try to link up!

Your flowers are so beautiful. I'd be tempted to let the phlox spread and spread and spread.

We've got just a touch of color. We need some warm days to get any real growth. Meanwhile, I'll just enjoy your flowers.

Spring flowers are so pretty. We did freeze the beans with the bacon wrapping.

We have all three of those in our yard---and love them all. BUT--we don't have nearly as many Candy Tufts or Phlox... Wish we had more since they are so pretty.....Great photos.
We do have LOTS of AJSedum--and love it too...
Hugs,
Betsy

Happy Garden Tuesday Pam!
Oh I love all the plants you have shared today. I only wish my garden was as vigilant in growing this year. I transplanted my Peonies last year and although they are just popping, I'm afraid there won't be any blooms this year. Ants seem to favor the peony blooms big time! You may want to spray those buds with some a garlic solution to make them think twice about nibbling.
The Candy Tuff and Phlox are just gorgeous! The Phloz must look lovely under the mail box. Mine is growing, or trying to grow under the Broom plant, which I'm afraid didn't make it through this harsh Winter, but it too is having a difficult time this year. Yours look beautiful!
Thank you so much for brightening my day with all these lovely picks, Pam...

I have all of the above except candy tuft. Need to remedy that!
Question for you. Do you use mulch? If so, what do you use? I've always used cypress, but I had a lawn care guy do the job for me this year and he used cedar instead. It's supposed to be better in preventing termites, but then I also read that both mulches tend to absorb a lot of water and you wind up not getting as much to the plants. Who knew!
