A few garden photos of garlic chives and sedum autumn joy.
If you need another excuse to grow garlic chives - the bumble bees love them. Now, remember my warning, they spread like crazy. To keep them from reseeding so much, I usually cut the flowers off. They are delicate white flowers atop tall sturdy stems and make lovely cut flowers.
Every day the sedum autumn joy blushes a little more. I love watching the slow, yet fast, transition from summer to fall.
The roses are making one last tiny hurrah before fall.
Just for interest here is my house. You can see my sidewalk bed, the flowers on the porch railing and our huge hickory tree. I really need to find an old photo of our house and show you how small that hickory tree was when we first moved in!
