This time of year is crazy right?! It seems that things grow by leaps and bounds while I am sleeping. When I wake up in the morning, the small sprouts that I photographed yesterday are now looking like plants. The buds are now leaves!
The Lenten Rose (hellebores) are popping up. It is lent, after all!
Vines that been snuggling under a blanket of leaves begin their crawl up a tree. Or at least until the hubs tears them down. One year, I had the crazy idea that maybe a little patch of ivy would look nice in the woods. Apparently there is no such thing as a little patch of ivy. We (and by we, I mean him) tear this out by the wheelbarrow full and it's still there.
The money plants are popping up under the watchful eye of Mr. Garden Bunny. Wouldn't it be grand if they really did grow money, instead of their attractive, but not legal tender, seed pods.
Hardy cyclamen makes itself known amongst some weeds and leaves.

Ah, tough lesson with the ivy- it does want to take over, huh? Unless of course it's where you want it to grow - like my matching topiaries at my front door - then it will periodically die for no reason at all. 😉
Thanks for sharing at the Tuesday Garden Party!
