I'm sure the fact that this is Weekend Wine Review #256 let's you know that I don't need a reason to drink wine. However, when I saw Chateau La Paws Chardonnay with the adorable puppy on the front, I was so thrilled to do something that actually supports no kill shelters. We bought the wine mainly to help support the shelters, we didn't really have high hopes for it. We were pleasantly surprised!
Rosenblum Chateau La Paws Chardonnay, Sonoma County, California, $9.99 at Arena Liquors. They say: our lively lovable Chardonnay is rich and toasty with juicy pineapple, green apple notes, and a pinch of vanilla. We say: light and refreshing, pineapple and green apple. Totally agree with everything they say! Very nice! Buy again: yes!
