Fabre Montmaou, Phebus MMC, 2013, Mendozza, Argentina. Total Wine - $8.99. (Red wine blend - 70% Malbec, 15% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon). They say: Juicy black fruits combine with dried flowers, violets, and black pepper, with ripe tannins lending to a soft and opulent finish. We say: light, but rich dark fruit flavors, balanced tannins, medium body, notes of vanilla. A nice soft finish. Buy again: yes.
You knew I would have to have the obligatory wine in front of the Christmas tree shot, didn't you!?!

I love the descriptions on wine bottles. Dried Flowers? Violets? Really? Thanks goodness we have your plain speaking reviews, Pam. Lovely photo too.
