Some of you know that Patchouli and Coco do not get along. They live in separate parts of the house. Patchouli has the basement and Coco has the rest of the house. That may sound unfair, but my computer is in the basement and I spend 90% of my day down here with her. She has a ground level window with a bird feeder not far away. There is plenty to look at. She loves her window perch and spends most of the day there. Unless she is sleeping on her futon. Yes she has a futon. See....don't pity her and her basement apartment. She also has a Playstation, a stereo and plenty of books to read 🙂

My mom has to keep her kitty in her bedroom because she's older and gets stressed out by my two. We know all about necessary separation and exile in this house.

Hi there! Your photographs are beautiful, especially the second one - love that photo.
It took a few years before my 2 sisfurs would be in the same room as my brofur but it did happen eventually. Right now all 3 kitteh sibs are on the one sofa - brofur is up one end by himself but they are still all on the sofa. BOL!
Don't be surprised if one day you get a visitor in the basement...the other kitteh.

I understand. We have lots of cat areas because with 15 cats they don't all get along.

So, in order to get her own cat pad with all mod cons, she had to *not get on with Miss Coco*. Well played Patchouli.

It sounds like Patchouli has a pretty good place in the basement. Our Zoey is separated from me and Wally and has her own room, too. Though she doesn't have a Playstation. 😉

Your kitty is so pretty and I'd say she's got it made with those accomadations. We have a cat now that we are keeping in our basement. Just at night though. He's mainly an outdoor cat (belongs to some neighbors who don't take proper care of their animals). With our other 8 cats we can't have him roaming the house as he's not fixed. Still he enjoys the nice bed he has to sleep on down there.

Cats are so funny. We had 2 growing up who also did not get along. Sometimes they would pass in the hall and they would always growl at each other. They cracked us up as kids. Patchouli is a cutie! 🙂
