I was going to use some new photos for today's post, but I brought down the wrong memory card. I have my Canon camera all set up to take food photos, so I set up my Fuji to use for all other photography.
I grabbed the memory card out of my Canon and instead of kitty cats, uploaded a Blueberry Margarita and some Sriracha Honey Pork Chops (all coming soon!)
So, I went looking through my cat folder of photos that still needed to be edited (I'm down to only about 700!) I found these photos of Winston from 2016.
If you're new to the blog, Winston Purrchill was a feral kitty cat that allowed us to befriend him. It took years of work, but I finally got him to sleep on our screened in porch and stay in a warm kitty house (keeping Feral cats warm in the winter) in the winter.
He was deaf, which made taming him even harder. I am well versed in sweet talking kitty cats, it's one of my secret weapons, but I wasn't able to use it on him.
He would just stare at me when I talked, like he wished that he could hear what I was saying.
I never got to pet him, the most I could do was hold out a finger and he would ever so softly sniff it. I'm so glad for the few years that we got to make his life a little easier.

I don't very often visit your blog, because I'm not interested in recipes... but your cat photos are wonderful and Winston was a handsome boy. Sure, he had a good time with you, I would miss him too... Had feral cat here, it often takes a very long time, but now he's my houseman...
Greetings from Germany
