Our Dusting of Snow | Garden Tuesday

Snow on garlic chive flower heads

Yep, that is the extent of our snow so far this winter.  As soon as it started coming down, I ran outside to snap a few photos.  Luckily I did because within a couple of hours it was all gone.  We've had such pretty snow for a couple of years in a row, that I was hoping the trend would continue.  I know it's only February and there is still a chance of more snow, I'm kind of ready to give up.  Ready for spring.  If it's not going to snow, if it's just going to be cold with no benefits then bring on the warm weather!

    Snow on purple coneflower head.

Snow is the reason I don't clean up my flower beds in the fall.  I love to see the snow on all the dried flower heads.  This purple coneflower head looks nice with it's tiny cap of white.

    Lenten Rose in Snow

The Lenten Rose are making their timely appearance.  I know to always go look for them as soon as it gets near lent.

    Nandina with snow

I'll be back next week with more of our snow photos, because I was so excited with even this dusting that I took a ton of photos!

Although you only got a little dusting of snow, the pictures you've captured are really lovely. I especially love the first and second pictures shared.

      Hi Pam:)
I really need to get me a Lenten Rose. I keep saying I will and I don't. I did finally get an Orchid though. I'll try to include it in next week's post so I can link up for Garden Tuesday.

After all, snow is pretty especially at its most minimum but, mild Winter or not, I'm ready for the garden!!!

I love each and every one of these pictures, Pam. I leave the garden as is in the Fall too. You just never know how things will fall:) I can't wait to see the rest of your captivating snaps!!! Thank you so much for sharing...
