Yep, that is the extent of our snow so far this winter. As soon as it started coming down, I ran outside to snap a few photos. Luckily I did because within a couple of hours it was all gone. We’ve had such pretty snow for a couple of years in a row, that I was hoping the trend would continue. I know it’s only February and there is still a chance of more snow, I’m kind of ready to give up. Ready for spring. If it’s not going to snow, if it’s just going to be cold with no benefits then bring on the warm weather!
Snow is the reason I don’t clean up my flower beds in the fall. I love to see the snow on all the dried flower heads. This purple coneflower head looks nice with it’s tiny cap of white.
The Lenten Rose are making their timely appearance. I know to always go look for them as soon as it gets near lent.
I’ll be back next week with more of our snow photos, because I was so excited with even this dusting that I took a ton of photos!
