A review of The Passenger by Lisa Lutz. Post may contain affiliate links.
I have read all of the Lisa Lutz books in the Spellman series. A series that is always a fun, silly ride. I find it so impressive that someone who can write such fun books can then turn around and write the perfect thriller.
The main character in The Passenger is Tanya. We first meet Tanya when her husband “accidentally” falls down the stairs and dies. For reasons we will learn later, Tanya does not want to try and explain things to the police, so she takes off.
Immediately we start to suspect that there is more to Tanya than meets the eye. She has amazing street smarts and knows how to stay hidden and one step ahead of anyone that might be after her.
Through many twists and turns, we slowly uncover who Tanya is and what she is running from.
I completely enjoyed this book and stayed up way too late reading until it was finished!

Looks like one I'm going to have to add to my list. It's been awhile since I've read a thriller...I think I'm ready.
