Luxie wants to know if you missed us while we were gone?! It has been a hectic couple of months. From our vacation to Washington and Oregon to my busiest fall ever as a photographer. Luxie, Coco and Patchouli love our house sitter so we don't really have any worries while we are gone, but we do miss them. I know people in other countries take month long holidays, but honestly, I don't know how you do it! I was ready to go home after our week and a half. I wanted to see the kitties, I wanted to sleep in my own bed, and I wanted to get back into the rhythm of life. Don't get me wrong, I had a blast on my vacation, but I am definitely a homebody at heart.
The kitties were different when we got home. They're not like dogs, they don't run up and jump all over you, tails wagging, with small happy barks. No, they show it in much more subtle ways. Luxie slept curled up right next to me for several nights in a row, when normally she is a bottom of the bed sleeper. She followed me around the house all day long. Coco, who is a talker, meowed repeatedly telling us all about what happened during our time away.
So, yes we had fun, but it was good to be back home. Then after we got back home, my photography business had me completely crazy busy. It still is (I did 5 sessions over Thanksgiving weekend!), but it is finally slowing down a bit to a much more manageable 2-3 sessions a week.

Being an ex stray, my life is not always the same as a other more domestic felines, and I make do with what I have a lot of the time. Still there is something very reassuring having a peep to warm the bed for me at night... Luxie looks fabulous with the changes by Topaz, something we must try soon.
