2013 Hope Estate Semillon, New South Wales, Wine Awesomeness. They say: This bottle hails from Australia's Hunter Valley, a region that is known for producing some solid Semillons. Until recently this was only sold Down Under, but it has made it's way to the states! Australian Semillon is definitely trending right now and you can see why. The palate is unique, both slick and mouth-coating without being cloying. Apricots and peaches on the nose that is matched with a limestone freshness. Floral notes of jasmine, buttercup and daffodil. We say: citrus, peaches and honey with a long finish. Very nice!
