    Kitty Cats and Boxes

I don't know about you, but I've started planning my new year.  New resolutions, new word of the year, new way of thinking.  I will probably be doing a blog post on it, so I won't go into super duper detail now.  I plan on making next year the best year ever.  My husband is a couple of years from retiring (if he holds out that long) and I've started slowing down my photography business and I want to have everything in place for us to do what we want to do.  Getting our house and our lives in order.

Coco is ready for the new year too, though I am afraid she is going to have to find a new place to lay.  She has discovered that we placed the Christmas decorations boxes in the living room in front of the bookcases.  She loves them.  We rarely go in the living room, I go in there mainly to look through my cookbooks.  So, it is a nice quiet place for her.

See that bookcase?  That's one of the things I'm going to be working on.  Stuff.  Too much stuff.  Though, there is another cookbook arriving today in the mail, so obviously, I have issues!

The kitties and I are planning a nice quiet New Years.  A little tv.  A little champagne.  What about you?

Not sure how I missed this post, but better late than never, I guess. Sounds like you have an important year coming up. I too plan to make 2018 great. I just culled about thirty books from my writing book stash. Probably will not do much more culling, but I'm focusing on other areas, like reading, health and writing my novel.

Wishing you the best 2018...and sorry Coco has to lose her favorite spot. I'm sure she will find another one. Cats are excellent in that way. 🙂

Coco, I think your mom should leave those boxes there all year long. A princess needs a throne. Happy New Year from our house to yours.

Coco you are so beautiful you take our breath away. It will be hard for you to help your human with her book project next year by reading, but you can help by sitting on books and pawing through pages so she has more fun with this chore. For a little diversion, please visit our red castle today! Asa calico in excellent standing you are always welcome! Love, P and P

What a delightful image and Coco is clearly quite happy to chill out amid all those tomes. Maybe she is thinking up new recipes?

Our Mommy has ordered some cookbooks too. She is on this weird Paleo diet where she can't eat anything.

love your artwork! I don't believe in resolutions one iota....much too constricting and confining. I prefer the term "intentions"..........it infers constantly evolving which is much better than resolute decisions 🙂 Happy New Year!

We are sorting through loads of stuff too right now as we are due to be moving house in the new year. I'm getting rid of a lot of it and donating most to charity. I am trying to live a more minimalist lifestyle.

      Happy New Year!
