This week's Outfit of the Day for my Fashion Over 50 post features an Ivory Linen Tunic. This Linen Tunic is sure to become a staple in my Spring, Summer, and Fall Capsule Wardrobe!

Spring Capsule Wardrobe
At first I thought that I would not be buying anything new for my Spring Capsule Wardrobe. I really didn't need anything and since converting to a capsule wardrobe last summer, I rarely go out "window shopping." My credit card and bank account are much happier with this arrangement.
Ivory Linen Tunic
However, I was walking through Marshall's when I spotted this Tahari Ivory Linen Tunic. It checked all my boxes: linen, neutral color, nice long length. It was love at firs sight.
Neutral Clothing so Easy to Style
This tunic is a perfect example of why I love a Capsule Wardrobe, it immediately went with just about everything in my wardrobe! I've decided to style it 3 different ways, one each week, so you can see how easy it is to style neutral clothing. For this outfit, I paired the ivory tunic (similar) with a summer weight scarf (tassels, lightweight) white slim Premise pants (slimming, straight legged) and orange Restricted flats (similar.)
This outfit is based very loosely on the French Minimalist Capsule Wardrobe from Classy Yet Trendy.

Pam, your tunic, scarf, and shoes are perfect. I love how you've made a capsule wardrobe, using neutrals as a base.

What a lovely piece Pam! I for awhile, stayed away from linen, as it notoriously, as you know wrinkles. But I bought a dress and top last year that I really enjoy wearing and it is quite comfy and cool! Love this top, as it will go with so much and it looks so light and pretty. Great orange scarf too!

Oooh, ok. I would have had to have this piece, too! And it is so versatile with the neutral color and being a button down that you'll def. get your wear out of it! I just love how it's a little sheer, too. SO pretty how you paired it with the orange scarf and flats.
