    Coco Wants Out

    Cat Wants Out!

I'm sure this is a familiar sight for kitty cats that can go inside and outside.  It's the "sit at the door staring out pose."  The key to this pose is to pay no attention to anything else.  Just stare straight out the door.  If someone calls your name, ignore.

    Cat looking out door

Even while your human is clicking away with the camera.  Ignore.  Stare out the door.  Certainly they will get the point.

    Cat staring out the door

Even if they move to the other side and start taking photos from that side.  Ignore.  Pointedly stare harder out the door.

    Cat looking out door

Turn just a teensy bit so that they can see that you are staring outside.  Continue to ignore the human.

Cat with plant in the background

Give up.  Stare at the human.  Glare at the human.  You thought that she was trained better than this.  What does a kitty cat have to do to get let out around this house?

What great shots of beautiful Coco! Sometimes it's quite astounding how long a cat can sit and stare, especially if they're staring at you. lol

Alice is our cat who wants out. She will lie in wait when people come in or go out the door. Then, the normally slow moving girl runs for the door like the best of sprinters. ๐Ÿ˜€

That stare should speak volumes to your human! What in the world are they doing taking photos when you are clearly giving them instructions. MOL! Thanks for joining the Pet Parade!

Coco is a lovely model! I can see why a photographer would ignore her wishes to be outside and keep taking pictures.

You know that you've been glared at good and proper when you've been glared at by a cat!

Thanks for the share. These are some beautiful photos. I guess if you stare at the door, it will open really soon. Just waiting for the right time. Looks like it was a beautiful day to be outside. Have a great weekend.

You ignore so very well. You could teach other cats how it's done.

Beautiful photos! *click click* *ignore cat ignoring photographer* MOL!

We never get to go out (well, most of us never do) so we're taking notes from you in case our Mom ever learns to pick up our door-staring cues.

Beautiful photos~ My cat also like looking outside through the window, but he prefer lay down, he rarely sits like Coco.

Beautiful pics Coco! And I like your technique very much. Stare at the humans until they do the right thing (and the right thing is whatever the feline wants!)

We find they are OK with us ignoring them. Barking is sometimes required to break their attention from other activities.

Oh Coco, you are such a lovely diva in every pose. Those photos of you! WOW! (whistles & winks!) The only time I get to go out is if I'm in my stroller. Maybe Miss Pam could get you one?

Our question is: Did you get to go outside? We know some of you can. The green of the plant adds a nice contrast to your gorgeous furs. You are nicer than we are. We would not have let our humans get that nice face photo. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

The richness of colour in Coco's fur in the topaz image is delightful. Coco has added to the delight of the photographs through her single point of view. I declare this competition a draw MOL

With cats, there's always an alternate hypothesis: maybe they just aren't too bright, even though they are beautiful.

There is no creature more single-minded than a cat, and the lovely Coco is no exception.
