Spring Capsule Wardrobe Essentials Tops
I'm back with another post as I build my spring capsule wardrobe. The past few weeks I've shared with you my bottoms: Essential Jeans, Black Pants, and White Pants. I'm back this week with the first of my spring capsule tops - a grey t shirt or a gray t shirt, depending on how you want to spell it!
Above is my basic grey t shirt, I like both Mossimo from Target and Sonoma from Kohl's. The Mossimo fits a little tighter and the Sonoma is a little looser.
Grey t shirt with White Birds
I've mentioned before that I loosely follow the French Minimalist Capsule Wardrobe from Classy Yet Trendy. Here is an example of a loose follow. The wardrobe calls for one grey t shirt. I don't have one. I have five. I already had all of these in my wardrobe, when I started making my capsule, and there was no reason for me to get rid of any of them.
This Sonoma has cute birds on it and a nice relaxed fit.
Fifth Sun Grey T Shirt
This next t shirt was a gift from my daughter. It is a Fifth Sun t shirt and has the U in Sunday replaced with a wine glass. Sigh. She knows me so well.
Out of Print Grey T Shirt
This last shirt is by Out of Print and it features old library stamps. It saddens me to think that there are generations that have no idea what this means at all. It was a gift from my husband, who also knows me so well.
So, there you have it, five grey t shirts for my spring capsule wardrobe. Other than the two basic ones, they all have a different feel and vibe. Yes, I break a few capsule wardrobe rules, but I don't care. The world puts too many rules on us as it is, without me making up my own!

Librarian here! Love the Out of Print tee and the one with the birds. Like seriously though, how did I not think of a printed gray tee as a closet staple? I mean, it goes with everything.
