Happy 4th of July! While lots of people love the 4th of July, lots of kitty cats do not. It might be one of their least favorite holidays. The best way for a kitty to spend the fourth of July is under a bed or hunkered down in a trusty box.
These are old photos in poor light, but I think they sum of Coco's feelings about the 4th of July quite nicely. Speaking of old cat photos, I have a lot. In Lightroom, I have a smart collection of all photos waiting to be edited that are tagged "cat". I have 539 of them. Apparently one cannot take too many photos of the kitty cats. I seriously need to weed through them.
These photos were some of the oldest in that collection. I don't even know when these were taken because I wasn't importing them with a date at that time.

I confess that I shoot a lot of cat photos...I had to laugh though because I have over 50,000, maybe more. That and nature is what I like to photograph.
