    Cats Looking Out Windows

Anyone else get a glorious taste of spring and then have it rudely taken away?  When I took these photos, it was 70 degrees outside and sunny.  Birds were sings, trees were blooming, spring was in the air.  So warm that I opened up the windows to let a little fresh air in.  It was perfect for a couple little kitty cats to do some bird watching.  If it's one thing cats love, it's looking out windows!

All of the birdies and the squirrels were enjoying the weather.  Giving the kitty cats their own private show to watch.

Eventually Coco remembered that she can go outside, leaving poor Luxie to gaze longingly out the window.  Also, can you see my little orchid blooming?!  It only blooms about once a year, but next to it is my other orchid that blooms almost continuously.  It is so nice to have them blooming together.  My third orchid (you can't have too many orchids) is sending up a stalk to bloom, but it's not ready to bloom yet.

For my artsy photo, I used Topaz Labs.

Yup! As soon as we open the window in the kitchen, the cats are right there. It's a big window with room for both cats, but they often get in little tifs anyway. Alice is a bully. lol

That was our same weather this past week! A couple of days of warm, spring weather followed by clouds, more clouds, and now rain and chilly wind. Spring is coming, they say. We say, hurry up! Our Mom agrees with you about orchids but she grows them too well and they go all crazypants and take over the windowsills making her have to find them new forever homes. She doesn't have a single one now. Maybe it's time to start that all over again. MOL!

We had really warm weather last weekend, in the 70's, just to have it go down to the 40's on Monday.
So the kids aren't spending too much time on the screened in porch this week.

Always so pretty - Coco and Luxie. The orchids are too. Mom saw some blooming at the grocery store yesterday, but she didn't bring them home, 'cause she says I'll just nibble on them and they are poisonous. Hugs.

The same thing happened here in Portugal. Yesterday it was sunny and warm and today it's cold and raining. My cat and I can't wait for Spring to arrive!

Our dogs love the sliding glass back door even though its view is limited by the porch. Any access to the outside is valuable.

My kitties always enjoy looking out the window, but our windows won't be open for a while. Still too cold here.

Ahhh. What a lovely scene to behold, and a great effect too. If you cant chase them, next best thing is to sit and watch.

It got up to the 80s here and I was very tempted to get my plants out of the greenhouse, thankfully I didn't as then it turned cold again and we had a frost. ~Alasandra

That is a beautiful effect. We consider temperature of 70 to be a hot summer here!

Yes, we've been teased by spring only to have the bitter cold return. It's cold right now.

      I love your kitties.

Hope you had a purrfect Feline Friday. ♥

We have not hit 70 yet, I think we hit 60 once. Kitties do love their window whiffies. Beautiful photos.
