As promised last week, here is my second set of snow photos! I know I took a lot, but it was our only really measurable snow fall this winter! We've had such a boring winter, mostly cold and hardly any sunshine. I did walk around the yard this past weekend and there are signs of spring! I didn't snap any photos, but hopefully by next week I will have some.
My favorite year-round plant - Nandina. I love the red berries and the red new growth ont he leaves.
I guess you can tell the direction that the snow came from! This was a wet heavy snow, which is what we usually get when it comes up from the south. All that gulf moisture meeting the cold front from the north and west.
Home, sweet, home!
My backyard.
Well, that's it for my snow photos! Sorry for the overshare, but when we get snow in the south, we tend to get excited. Hopefully next week, I'll have some signs of spring photos! I'll probably have to wait to this weekend though because we have rain every day in the forecast this week! We are supposed to get 3-4 inches of rain. Everything will have probably grown a few inches by the time I get out there next Saturday!
