Guess who has 1282 photos in her to-blog garden folder in Lightroom? Yep, me. So, I've decided some sort if intervention is necessary or some sort of massive garden photo posting! Instead of showing you countless photos of my brown, winter garden, I'm going to try and whittle away at the surplus of photos. So, you might see daisies in January and tomato plants in February.
The petunias are finished. I tossed around the idea of filling these with pansies, which usually last the whole winter here. But I haven't quite motivated myself enough to do so.
Anyone recognize this mystery plant? I suspect it is a weed. We purchased it from a garden store and I can't remember what it was supposed to be, but I know that it was not supposed to be six feet tall, have tiny yellow flowers and also be growing wild along stretches of road. Unfortunately I planted it in my flower bed thinking it was whatever flower it was supposed to be, so now it will have to dug up.
Mr. Gnome is waist high in leaves!
Nandina doing it's fall/winter thing.
