Ferns, Blueberry Bushes and Oakleaf Hydrangea | Garden Tuesday

LAST UPDATED: January 31, 2019 PUBLISHED: December 7, 2015 By Pam Greer 5 Comments As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

A few late November photos from my southeast Tennessee Garden.  Link up for Garden Tuesday!

    Ferns in the fall

Well peeps, due to popular demand (and by popular demand I mean one person suggested it) I am bringing back my Garden Tuesday link up!!  I know.  I know.  Hold the applause please.

    Blueberry bushes in the fall

But since I made my proclamation last week, the one where I stated that I am going to take 5 garden photos every week, I decided I  might as well had my link up back.  I think trying to take 5 photos every week, especially when there is nothing to photograph, will help me be more creative.  Or not.  When you've seen the same brown leaf for six weeks in a row, don't act all surprised.

    Oakleaf hydrangea in the fall

Can we pause for a moment and admire my oakleaf hydrangea.  It is probably my most talked about shrub on Garden Tuesday, second only to nandina.  It is a year round performer for me.  I love it's dried flower pods every bit as much as I love them when they are in their prime!

    Christmas Tree still tied up

Yes, the Christmas tree has been purchased!  It is sitting under the porch, getting a nice long drink of water.  We've found that if we buy it early and get it right into a big pail of water, letting it drink all it wants while still outside in the cool, it really does stay fresher longer.

These are lovely winter scenes. It's amazing what you can find just looking around.
