This post isn't going to focus on one thing, just odds and ends around my garden! This is my fig tree that my fellow 8th grade teachers got me in May for my retirement! I had happened to tell one of them that my fig tree had died and they surprised me with this one! I cherish it, just like I cherish them!
The dogwood trees are dotted with bright red berries and their leaves are just beginning to think about changing.
The Oakleaf Hydrangea's flowers are all brown. We will leave them on the plant, they had a nice interest to the winter garden.
My volunteer tomatoes are each ripening at their own pace!
The sedum autumn joy has gone all deep salmon pink.
One hickory tree seems to be in a hurry for fall to get here!

Hi, Pam! Yes...we are about 1.5 hours from Chattanooga, so we come up 2-3 times a year. We LOVE it. This was the first time we really explored the riverwalk, tho. So much to see and photograph! 🙂
Love your site...and those red berries on the dogwood really make me smile!

Hi Pam!
I'm so sorry I haven't been here in a while. For some reason, I'm having the darndest time trying to catch up:) I've cut down to only posting once a week but after seeing today's post, I'm wishing I would have joined in.
I still haven't added Sedum Joy to the garden but every time I see yours I wish I had. Perhaps next year. Yes, it's officially Fall but I have no intentions of "giving in" yet, lol...
Thanks so much for sharing, Pam...I'm going to try to make it next week:)
