Calico Cat in Front of Window
I would say that about 90% of my photos of Luxie kitty are in one of two places. She is either on the table by the bay window, where we do our morning journaling or she is on this blue table in the dining room. I usually open up this window for a little bit in the morning before it gets too hot and she loves to have bird chirps to accompany her bird watching.
She shares the table with my orchids. It's surprising, but she doesn't bother them at all. Even when a flower drops off and falls on the table. I think she likes the orchids.
She thinks the orchids compliment her pretty colors. I agree, don't you?
Has everyone else been getting crazy rain lately? Everyday, rain and wind. While I am grateful to not have to set up the sprinklers (my most hated part of gardening) this is getting a little ridiculous. Now I'm worried nothing is getting enough sun, I don't know if my tomatoes will ever ripen!

You look beautiful. How do your orchids grow? I am attempting my first one and the flowers have fallen off and I cut it back. I am hoping it lives. They are so pretty.

Yes, once you cut the flowering stem, it will bloom again later.

Luxie is such a beautiful Calico kitty! My Maggie cat was a Calico too, and she loved her various sun puddles. I see Luxie has found the best spots for sunning & bird admiring. I do think those lovely orchids complement her very well!

Beautiful art of a beautiful girl, and the fallen orchid flower does set it off nicely. No rain here, in fact 30 days without any according to yesterday's newspaper. It is unheard of to not have rain in the UK. Usually if we go more than 2 days it is considered good.
