Today while taking photos of my latest food, Luxie once again came in to supervise. I tried to snap a few photos of her, but she was very busy grooming. Very, very busy. No amount of begging, pleading, coaxing, or name calling could stop her from her task at hand.
Even when she paused, she wouldn't look at me! Sometimes she is so cooperative and then other times not. Such is the life of a cat, right!
I am so grateful to have her home with me everyday. Since I am a blogger (obviously) and a professional photographer, I work from home about 80% of the time. I work downstairs in the computer room for 30 minutes at a time, then I go upstairs for a break to either exercise, clean, or play with Luxie. Coco has started hanging around inside more often and they both are waiting at the top of the stairs for me, for some kitty cat play time. I'd hate to think what I'd do if I didn't have the cats, probably talk to my plants!

They can get really involved in bath time. I guess it's like when we get in the bathtub...we don't want to be disturbed. lol
I work from home too. The cats are a big comfort for sure.

I'm sure that Luxie didn't look at the camera just because she wanted a more artistic portrait. MOL She is a gorgeous girl. I love candid shots of pets - they are amazing just doing the things they naturally do. I know what you mean about companionship with a kitty. I work from home too and having my kitties is a true blessing.

Luxie is so cute and seems to know her own mind. Love hoe Rich her colors are. I also admire your discipline of getting up every 30 minutes, I need to move out of my chair more also. I find myself stuck there sometimes for hours.
