    Strawberry Frosé (Frozen Rosé)

I know what you're thinking... Frozen Rosé?!  That's so 2016.  Yes, it is.  It was also so 2017.  And guess what?  I'm making it so 2018.  I love it!  It's easy to make, pretty to look at tastes amazingly delicious and refreshing.  Check back next year when I make it so 2019.   I am a creature of habit.

    How to Make Frozen Rosé

Making a Frosé is so easy.  Just pour your rosé into an ice cube tray and freeze it.  Then gather up whatever flavorings you want to use, for this recipe I used strawberries, some sugar, vodka and Campari.  Blend you rosé ice cubes and your flavorings in your favorite blender and enjoy.  You can garnish with strawberries, use cute paper straws, a cute serving tray and put some of your zinnias in a mason jar.  Sit on your porch and enjoy.

As soon as you're finished, you'll probably want to get another bottle of rosé and start some more rosé ice cubes, or at leas that's what I did!  I want to have these cubes in the freezer at all times, so that I am always just minutes away from from a Frozen Rosé.

I just read a lovely article about the double-standards in the food world related to gender bias in food trends. Long story short, it pointed out how ridiculous it is that when a food become's trendy or an obsession for men, it's 'elevated' but when the same thing happens for women (e.g. rosé) it's somehow 'ruined.' It was a fascinating read, and it made me want to say heck yes to all the rosé concoctions out there that are being maligned. If you love something, enjoy it, right? So with that out of the way - this is a delightfully refreshing looking summer cocktail! Cheers!

The idea of a frosé is so tantalizing right now. Mid July in North Carolina is no joke and the humidity was especially strong this morning when I went out! I think a frosé-a-day should be a thing, yeah? I also love how simple the ingredients are. I don't usually have fancy drink things kicking around, so easy is always a win for me 🙂

What a wonderful refreshing drink. An adult slurpy would make a person super happy on a hot summer day! I love that you used Campari to cut the sweetness of the drink. This would be an ideal drink to serve at our upcoming family BBQ.

I absolutely love that you've used Campari in this. It's one of my favorite aperitifs and it must give these strawberry frose's such a nice little hint of bitterness to contrast the sweeter flavors. What a great idea to keep the frozen rose ice cubes in the freezer ahead of time, too. I always decide I want something like this "rightnow" and don't take into account freezing times! 🙂

I never thought to freeze rose and blend. That sounds really easy. The rose and strawberries sound dreamy, I have never had campari though. Maybe it's time to try something new. What a great Summer time drink, saving this for this weekend. Thanks for sharing this!

Sounds like my kind of summer cocktail. We can still get some fresh berries (although the season is almost done). What a great drink for any BBQ party, or just sitting on the patio enjoying the weather. Sounds like a plan for the hot weekend that is coming up.

I live in Florida -- and it's suffocatingly hot. I think that your Frosé should be the official drink of Florida summers. Let's send a petition to the governor. I've had Frosé at a few outdoor foodie events, but I've never tried it at home... It looks easy enough -- and I love the Campari in your recipe. Well done.
