A review of Ott & Murphy Radieux for Weekend Wine Reviews #282.
Our trip last fall to Washington included a day on Whidbey Island. Such a charming place! We stayed at The Inn at Langley and it was just a short walk to the small downtown area of Langley. Nestled on the small shop lined street was the Ott & Murphy Tasting Room. We wandered in and sampled some mighty fine wines. I will be writing a review of the tasting room at Grey is the New Black, so I will hold off any details. Suffice it to say that we loved it so much, we brought back two bottles of wine, across the country, to Tennessee. I've already reviewed Ott & Murphy Intrepide.
Ott & Murphy Radieux, Red Blend, 2012, $28, Washington. A red wine blend of Cabernet Franc & Merlot. We say: sweet tobacco, raspberries and black pepper. Loved it!!! Buy again: yes!
