A wine review of Alloy Wine Works Chardonnay 2016.
2016 Alloy Wine Works Chardonnay
2016 Alloy Wine Works Chardonnay, Paso Robles, California. 100% Chardonnay.
They say: This wine is the definition of California Chardonnay. It is bold, medium bodied and rich. There are aromas of zesty citrus with almond, white cake and morning dew. Smells like vanilla, but also very fruity. Hints of leafy green and lime. On the palate notes of floral rose water, vanilla buttercream and key lime pie.
Even though most people associate alcohol in cans with beer, Alloy Wine Works is on a mission to change that. Some purists are going to turn up their nose at it, but wine in a can has so much going for it! It's easily portable, chills faster and there's half a bottle of wine in a can! Don't worry about an aluminum taste, the wines are lined to prevent any metallic taste from leaching into your wine.
We say: hints of golden raisins, melon and lemon. We loved it! It definitely makes drinking wine in the summer even easier!

Some other chardonnays that we've enjoyed: Hayton Chardonnay, Snickerdoodle Chardonnay, Bear Hug Select Chardonnay.
