Kitty Cat in the Garden
Well for a few short days, we spring. Glorious warm weather with abundant sunshine. Then winter came back. Not with all the crazy snow you northeastern people got, just cold weather. Frost on my blueberry buds.
But before it got cold, I ran out to snap a few garden photos. I'm hoping next week to start my garden posts again. So, Patchouli came out with me. It really was our day, perfect temperature. We are quite picky when it comes to temps. You won't find us out when it's really hot or really cold. We are happiest a few days in the spring and a few in the fall.
She enjoyed nibbling on some grass and posing amongst the chives. See that little violet by her foot? That's one of 3,672,364,299 that are now growing in my yard. While I find them charmingly old fashioned, I never realized what bullies they were. They have taken over huge sections of my herb bed.
There was also plenty of time to ignore me while I whistled, called her name and meowed - all to get the cold shoulder. You can see even more violets in this photo!

That's about right...Tennessee weather. A few days in the spring and a few in the fall. The rest of the time, inside all. the. time. For me, it's more in the summer. I HATE the hot summers. Counting the days until I move back up to Michigan (three more years!). Patchouli was looking lovely, as always.

Well, of course Patchouli is ignoring you ... to do anything else would give you much more respect than a cat thinks you deserve! I can relate to your violet comment - in our old house, we had violets and buttercups, and at first it looked like an attractive meadow. By the time we left, the buttercups had really taken over!

What a gorgeous cat! I have two fur babies at my house, but they never get to go outdoors. I am sure all of that tall grass and the chives made her happy!

Probably the best days of the year come in spring, and early summer, when theUK has one that is. That is a lovely image of Patchouli, she lends herself so well to these filters.

We don't like being out when it's too hot either.

Patchouli is so pretty enjoying her garden and chewing on the grass. The art is pretty too.
No Spring here either. We have more snow forecast for Easter. We hardly ever get snow, and this will be the third time since March 1st!

Very pretty art! Hopefully it will warm up enough to enjoy the garden soon. We had 70-degree days in February and then snow on the first day of spring. Go figure!

I linked this to Feline Friday for you. So adorable. So spring. I'm waiting for spring. It's been a long, cold and wet winter.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday. My best to your mom. ♥
