Afternoon Sun with Calico Cat
If you read my fashion posts, you are familiar with my foyer. Luxie occasionally joins me for the fashion posts, probably because this area is a favorite of the kitty cats. On one side of the door is cat grass. I've been buying it from PetSmart over the winter. Now that the weather has warmed up, I will start growing my own again.
Different Kinds of Catnip?
On the other side of the door is catnip. I bought this container also from PetSmart. I've found though that there are some types of catnip that the cats like more than the others. Some they ignore all together. This is one that they are apparently ignoring. Next to it is a pot of some that they didn't ignore. So much so, that they killed it! Killed it with a little too much love!
For my artsy photo I again used Topaz Labs. I'm not super pleased with it, with this photo. However, I just updated to Lightroom Classic and I'm just happy that the plugin still works!

Wonderful shots, as usual. I love Luxie's round little face. She's so cute.
I still need to get some of that catnip. Of course, knowing mine, they will make a huge mess, and my mom will have a fit. lol

I like how Luxie gets acquainted with that grass! Miss Pam, Mom asks where you get your cat grass seeds from? Mom has wheat grass seeds for me in the cupboard. She started me some catnip inside over the winter, but the petsitter didn't water it when Mom & Dad when out-of-town so it went bye bye. Tee hee hee.

We use wheat grass seeds too, get them from Amazon.

Luxie is a delightful feline, and that is a lovely spot to rest between feline heaven cat grass and cat nip... all she needs is a mouse or three MOL

Memories of Eric and Flynn says
Several years ago I bought a small catnip plant which grew well and spread like a weed. Neither Eric or Flynn liked it even though Flynn was usually a total nip head. It was obviously the wrong variety. The butterflies loved it though.
Luxie is beautiful. I like the way that the effect you used brings the colour out.

Luxie is a work of art all by herself. My cats seem to prefer catmint to catnip.

What a pretty spot! The one time we got a catnip plant, one of our cats dragged it into a corner behind some furniture and devoured the whole plant, hissing at anyone who came near. We decided to stick with cat grass after that!
