A review of Apex Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon for Weekend Wine Reviews #278.

    Apex Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Apex Cellars, Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley, 2011, $27.00.  They say:  This full bodied wine is intriguingly complex with expansive flavors and a lengthy finish.  We say:  red currant, mocha, green bell pepper.  Buy again:  yes.

I'll have to try that 🙂

I'm glad Luxie is speaking to you again after being spayed. I cracked up at the thought of all her male suiters outside your window. I feel a bit like that with my daughter LOL

      xo,

Interesting combination - red currant and green bell pepper?

Um...yes. We may have purchased a fancy schmancy wine book that tells us what flavors we might be tasting in our wine. After writing that I realized that I don't believe I've ever tasted a red currant in my life!
