A review of Big Cirrus Chardonnay, 2014 for Weekend Wine Reviews #289.

Big Cirrus Single Estate Vineyard Chardonnay, 2014, Chile. Wine Insiders: $19.00. They say: Perfectly balanced and crafted from single estate vineyard fruit. This is a middle of the road Chardonnay, embodying two different styles. It is both vibrant and refreshing with fresh fruits, but also has tiny hints of layered cream and vanilla. It tastes like: quince, peach, apple, vanilla. It is best served slightly cooler than room temperature, about 15 minutes in the freezer before serving is a good option. It pairs well with: pork, poultry, and seafood. We say: honeysuckle and apple. Crisp and refreshing. Very nice! Buy again: yes!

I'll look for this one in our wine merchants as I haven't had much success with Chilean wines.
